We use adverbials of place to describe:
Location我們用地點(diǎn)狀語(yǔ)形容位置:
We use prepositions to talk about where someone or something is.
我們用介詞短語(yǔ)說(shuō)明某人或某物所在的位置。
Examples:
He was standing by the table.

Direction

We use adverbials to talk about the direction where someone or something is moving.
我們用方位狀語(yǔ)形容某人或某物正在移動(dòng)的方向。
Examples:
Walk past the bank and keep going to the end of the street.
The car door is very small so it’s difficult to get into.
Distance
形容距離
We use adverbials to show how far things are:
我們用方位狀語(yǔ)形容物體之間的距離。
Examples:
Birmingham is 250 kilometres from London.
We were in London. Birmingham was 250 kilometres away.
