今晚，我們?cè)谥袊?guó)大使館共同慶祝新中國(guó)建立62周年?？偨y(tǒng)閣下蒞臨，我們倍感榮幸。各位貴客到來，我們格外高 興。我想借此機(jī)會(huì)，向所有生活在巴基斯坦的中國(guó)同胞致以節(jié)日問候，并向給予我們兄弟般關(guān)愛的巴基斯坦友人表示感謝。今天下午，中國(guó)國(guó)務(wù)委員孟建柱結(jié)束其對(duì)巴基斯坦的成功訪問乘專機(jī)回國(guó)。我想借此機(jī)會(huì)向巴方對(duì)孟國(guó)委一行的高規(guī)格接待表達(dá)由衷的謝意。
It is our great honor tonight to have His Hon. President Zardari with us. It is also our great pleasure to have all the distinguished guests joining us today. On this auspicious occasion marking the 62nd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, I would like to extend my warmest greetings to all the Chinese nationals residing in Pakistan and thank our dear Pakistani friends for all your brotherly affection for us. I also want to express my heartfelt thanks for your gracious hospitality and thoughtful arrangements accorded to His Hon. Chinese State Councilor Meng Jianzhu and his delegation.

尊敬的女士們、先生們！
Your Honorables, Ladies and gentlemen,

國(guó)慶之日是追憶與反思之日。我們追憶偉人，那些或帶領(lǐng)我們創(chuàng)建獨(dú)立家園，或領(lǐng)導(dǎo)我們建設(shè)中國(guó)特色社會(huì)主義國(guó)家，或指引我們通過科學(xué)發(fā)展去實(shí) 現(xiàn)共同富裕夢(mèng)想的偉人們。此時(shí)此刻，我們也會(huì)憶及國(guó)際上的友華領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人。他們的智慧和遠(yuǎn)見始終賦予中國(guó)以力量。在他們中間，巴基斯坦布托家族的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人尤為突 出。從佐·布托到貝·布托和扎爾達(dá)里總統(tǒng)再到比拉瓦爾·布托·扎爾達(dá)里，布托家族與中國(guó)結(jié)下不解之緣。
At this time of national celebration, we recollect and reflect. We recollect those visionary leaders, leaders who gifted us with an independent homeland, leaders who inspired us to build socialism with Chinese features, and leaders who help realize our dream of common prosperity through scientific development. We also recollect those leaders from abroad, whose vision and wisdom have always been a source of strength for China. Among them, Hon. President's family stands out. From His Hon. Ali Bhutto to Hon. Benazir Bhutto to Hon. President and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the three-generation friendship continues into the future.?

我們?cè)谧窇浀耐瑫r(shí)也會(huì)反思。我們反思向來之路，那承載了起伏跌宕和艱難困苦，交織著山重水復(fù)與柳暗花明的共和國(guó)成長(zhǎng)之路。建設(shè)中國(guó)這樣一個(gè) 獨(dú)特而復(fù)雜的大國(guó)，我們沒有現(xiàn)成的套路，只能邊試邊干。用一位中國(guó)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人的話說，就是“摸著石頭過河”。我們成功地進(jìn)行了改革開放，實(shí)現(xiàn)了國(guó)家在過去30 多年里的快速發(fā)展。我們高興地看到，今天的中國(guó)正在中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)下生機(jī)勃勃地向建設(shè)有中國(guó)特色社會(huì)主義國(guó)家的既定目標(biāo)昂首闊步。
As we recollect, we also reflect. We reflect upon those trying times as well as hopeful moments. We reflect upon our national journey with ups and downs, gloom and bloom. Since there is no precedent to build such a complex and unique country as China, we have to do it by trial and error. In some great Chinese leader's words, we have to "wade across the stream by feeling the way". Thanks to the policy of reform and opening-up, we have made great strides in national building during the last 30-odd years. And it is deeply satisfying today to see our country moving ahead confidently with the set direction of building socialism with Chinese features under the dynamic leadership of the Communist Party of China.

今天的巴基斯坦，無疑正接受著考驗(yàn)。作為全天候老朋友，中國(guó)希望巴基斯坦好起來。中國(guó)希望看到一個(gè)強(qiáng)大的巴基斯坦，一個(gè)充分實(shí)現(xiàn)自身潛力的巴基斯坦，一個(gè)擔(dān)當(dāng)?shù)貐^(qū)和全球安全基石的巴基斯坦。
As for Pakistan, there is no denying that it is in trying times. As a time-tested and all-weather friend, China wishes the best for Pakistan. China wants to see a strong Pakistan, one that lives out its full potential and one that serves as a cornerstone for regional and global security.

作為外交官，我們不只希望巴基斯坦好起來，我們還為此而奮斗。我們和你們腳踏同一方土地，共享同一片藍(lán)天，我們理解你們，我們相信你們，相信巴基斯坦能戰(zhàn)勝困難，擁有一個(gè)輝煌燦爛的未來！而我們將一路相隨。
As diplomats, we do not only wish for Pakistan, we work for it. Every day and night, we breathe with you, work with you, sympathize with you, and believed that Pakistan's best days are ahead. And we will always be there for you.

我想再次重申，中國(guó)政府和人民高度珍視與貴國(guó)的傳統(tǒng)友誼，一直并將繼續(xù)把發(fā)展對(duì)巴關(guān)系放在中國(guó)外交的優(yōu)先方向。我想借此機(jī)會(huì)，代表使館同事，祝愿尊敬的總統(tǒng)先生及所有在座朋友身體健康，祝愿巴基斯坦國(guó)家繁榮富強(qiáng)、人民幸福安康。
I would like to reaffirm that the Chinese government and people highly value our traditional friendship with Pakistan and always places high on its diplomatic agenda to develop good relations with Pakistan. On behalf of my colleagues in the Embassy, I would like to take this opportunity to extend my best wishes to Hon. President and all the friends present for good health, the government and people of Pakistan for greater peace and prosperity.

中國(guó)萬歲！巴基斯坦萬歲！中巴友誼萬歲！
