過去將來進(jìn)行時(shí)在英語語法學(xué)習(xí)中,還有一個(gè)很特別的用法,就是它可以用在獨(dú)立的句子中,例如:
1.The car started. Ellen James would be driving off to the university.
車子發(fā)動(dòng)了。埃倫·詹姆斯要開車到大學(xué)去。
2.Jack said he had found a job. He would be working as a bartender in Detroit.
