（1）不能和明確的時間搭配，比如：yesterday(morning、afternoon),last(morning、year)等，但可以與for, since連用。

例句：

（錯誤）I haven't seen her yesterday.
（正確）I haven't seen her for a long time. 我很久沒見到她了。

（錯誤）I've been here last morning.
（正確）I've been here since the end of June. 自6月末以來我就一直呆在這兒。

（2）同表示不明確的過去時間狀語連用，如already（肯定）, yet（否定，疑問）, just, before, recently, still, lately等。

例句：
I have already done my homework.
我已經(jīng)寫完作業(yè)了。

I have seen him before.
我以前曾經(jīng)見到過他。

The pupils have not yet learned to punctuate correctly.
小學生尚未學會正確使用標點符號。

She hasn't been feeling well lately and she let the housework slide.
她近來一直感到不適, 對家務也就隨它去了。

the soap's ratings have recently picked up.
這一肥皂劇的收視率近來提高了。

The doctor was here all morning, but you've just caught him out.
整個上午醫(yī)生都在這里，現(xiàn)在你卻正好碰到他不在。

另外注意just, already, recently等的用法，并不一定都是現(xiàn)在完成時。
例如：
1.She didn't realize her mistake yet.
她還沒有認識到她的錯誤。（一般過去時）

2. The place was recently visited by a serious volcanic eruption.
這地方最近發(fā)生了一次嚴重的火山爆發(fā)。（一般過去時）

3. Six months passed and still we had no news of them.
六個月過去了，而我們還沒有關于他們的消息。（一般過去時）

4.I just flipped through the book to see what it was like.
我只是瀏覽了一下這本書看看它怎么樣。（一般過去時）
