The celebration is underway in Washington for Tuesday's inauguration of Barack Obama. A concert will be held at the Lincoln Memorial this afternoon. NPR's Allison Keyes reports.

Other entertainers including Denzel Washington and Queen Latifah will be doing historical readings. Workers have been transforming the Lincoln Memorial into a concert stage for the past several days. And some of the performers have braved freezing temperatures for outdoor rehearsals.
