China's e-commerce companies are launching campaigns to fight for their shares of the increasingly competitive market. Some are centering around delivery services upgrades. Alibaba Group’s B2C e-commerce site TMall, teamed up with several leading logistics companies today.
The company formed strategic collaborations with nine of those, including EMS, Shunfeng Express to launch specialized services for its users. One service allows users in many cities across China to receive their goods just within 24 hours. Other conveniences include delivery of goods during the evening, and payment on delivery.
Another major Chinese e-commerce firm, , recently upgraded its delivery services. Analysts say that logistics have become the main focus of competition among e-commerce sites in China, rather than price wars.
