Most of the time, it's business as usual, you almost think there's an auto pilot button that you can press and things will go smoothly by themselves. The only reason there have to be pilots in the cockpit is for emergency situations. For us, it's breaking news. It's breaking news that singles out good news people from mediocre ones.

Am sad to know about the coup but also, my journalistic instincts/habits led me to probe further. As an interviewer, I've had the privilege to get really close with some of the world's most powerful and influential leaders, and even interact with them in front of the camera. Therefore, when we watch news like that, it's not as distant as it might seems to people of other professions. It's like something happening around you, to someone you know well, you met. It just makes me feel particularly sad when somethings bad happens to them.
對這次政變，我深感遺憾，然而我的職業(yè)習(xí)慣也促使我去進一步探究深層原因。身為采訪者，我有幸能近距離的接觸到一些風(fēng)云人物，甚至可以在鏡頭前與他們展開交流。因此，當(dāng)我們看到這樣的新聞，感受也更為真切。
