常言道：“黃金有價玉無價”，和田玉籽料在今年內(nèi)漲幅驚人，高端籽料的價格兩個月就翻一倍。目前已普遍達(dá)到每克500元，遠(yuǎn)超相同重量的黃金！目前市場上珍寶級的和田玉每公斤達(dá)數(shù)百萬元，稍差點的也要數(shù)十萬元。據(jù)悉，始于2003年的這股玉石漲價潮大有愈演愈烈之勢，在這股漲價潮背后，除了原料稀缺、工藝復(fù)雜等常規(guī)原因，從樓市和股市中轉(zhuǎn)移出來的大批投資客涌入玉石收藏市場，并占據(jù)了高達(dá)七成的銷售份額，成為玉石漲價的重要推手。

Some gem shop owners in Hangzhou says the price of Hetian jade has been several times higher than in previous years since early 2010.

"The price of this Hetian jade has been changing every day. For example, some pieces which cost 20,000 yuan last year, are now 35,000 yuan."

"For example, the raw material for this Hetian jade handicraft was purchased for 50,000 yuan last year in Hetian in Xinjiang. But this year, you must pay about 80,000 or 100,000 yuan for it."

Actually the price rise of Hetian jade started in 2005. And the price this year has skyrocketed.

Data from the Chinajade website says the best quality Hetian jade, which is usually referred as Hetian seed jade, cost about 100 yuan per kilogram in 1980, but by 1990, the price had increased to 1,500 yuan. This year, the price tag exceeds 100,000 yuan.

Over the past three decades, the prices of seed jade have increased 1,000 times.

Why has the price of Hetian seed jade skyrocketed? Its high quality is only one reason for the extreme price hike. Nowadays, more investors and businessmen are committed to collecting Hetian seed jade at any price. They are willing to pay several million yuan for these best quality seed jade.

Fan Dafu is an investor and real estate businessman from southeastern China Wenzhou. He believes Hetian jade has promising prospects.

Fan says while many products can be made using high tech, jade will always be a real treasure.

Like Fan, more businessmen collect jade as a mean of increasing value-added investment. Also, what's behind the high price is that many people believe most of the Hetian jade from the Yulong Kashgar River in Hetian of Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region has been fully exploited.

But this is only true for seed jade rather than other categories of Hetian jade, which can still be found in large reserves.

Fan Yimin, a jade expert from a culture organization in Hangzhou, says the price of seed jade has been rising, because rare seed jade is owned by some businessmen who have a monopoly on the market.
