Is the price negotiable? 這價(jià)錢可以商量嗎？

1、Price：價(jià)格；價(jià)錢；物價(jià)

例句：Prices keep going up. 物價(jià)持續(xù)上漲。

Price的另外一種定義：代價(jià)

例句：The country paid a heavy price for her independence. 該國(guó)為獨(dú)立付出了沉重的代價(jià)。

2、Negotiable：可協(xié)商的；可討論的

例句：He says his claim is not negotiable. 他說(shuō)他的要求是不容討價(jià)還價(jià)的。

What are your salary expectations? 你期望的薪水是多少?

句中的Salary通常是指Workers of higher skill and rank (非體力勞動(dòng)者) 所得到的“工資、薪水”。

而Wages通常是指簡(jiǎn)單勞動(dòng)或體力勞動(dòng)者所得的“工資、工錢”， 常用復(fù)數(shù)形式。

至于Pay是指不論工作性質(zhì)如何，針對(duì)勞動(dòng)所支付的報(bào)酬，為不可數(shù)名詞。

Expectation：預(yù)料；預(yù)期；期待；期望

例句：His parents have great expectations for his future. 他父母對(duì)他的前途深寄厚望。

She looks great from head to toe. 她從頭到腳看起來(lái)都美。

head-to-toe：【口】從頭到腳的，遍布全身

例句：The huge parka covered the small child from head to toe, assuring that she would be well-protected against the cold.

Lose your rag：發(fā)怒；生氣

例句：It was the only time I've ever lost my rag with someone in an office situation.

平時(shí)常用的Lose someone's temper也是發(fā)脾氣的意思。

例句：I hate to lose my temper at someone. I always end up feeling guilty.
