在2010年第82屆奧斯卡上，男主角、男配角都有獲提名的《成事在人》是一部感人的勵(lì)志傳記片，電影的主人翁是南非前總統(tǒng)曼德拉，故事描寫(xiě)了他在出獄之后如何借以橄欖球世界杯的契機(jī)，將當(dāng)時(shí)具有強(qiáng)烈種族分裂的南非共和國(guó)人民團(tuán)結(jié)起來(lái)的故事。劇情中提到了曼德拉總統(tǒng)在監(jiān)獄期間讀到的一首英文短詩(shī)，給了他莫大的觸動(dòng)。這首詩(shī)就是來(lái)自英國(guó)詩(shī)人William Ernest Henley的作品，而電影片名Invictus正是取自這首短詩(shī)。男主角摩根·弗里曼無(wú)論是扮相，還是個(gè)人魅力，都與曼德拉本人頗為接近，而影片中這首詩(shī)歌的吟誦部分更是一氣呵成，配合亦真亦幻的畫(huà)面，感人至深。
