Prosecutors are expected to file a criminal complaint charging Michael Jackson's doctor with involuntary manslaughter any day now. Dr. Conrad Murray's attorney says his client has prepared to turn himself in, if charges are filed. Jackson died last year after being given a powerful anesthetic and two other sedatives.
The Nigerian man, accused of trying to take down an airliner on Christmas Day, is cooperating now with investigators. Officials say Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab has been discussing his contacts in Yemen and providing intelligence in multiple terrorism investigations. It is unclear if the man has a deal with the government.
Three U.S. soldiers among seven people killed when a bomb exploded in northwest Pakistan. The bomb struck a security convoy, not far from the Afghan boarder. U.S. soldiers are training local security forces at the time of the blast.
Iran has unveiled a domestically-built satellite booster rocket, part of the country's ambitious space program that has some world worried because the same technology could be used to launch satellites and to deliver warheads. Tehran says it needs the satellites to monitor natural disasters and improve telecommunications.
