宅男極限：和游戲虛擬人物結(jié)婚

這位新郎自稱SAL9000，他說(shuō)經(jīng)歷過(guò)幾次與卡通人物的失敗戀愛(ài)后，他最終愛(ài)上了一款戀愛(ài)游戲中的角色。他們的婚禮在東京科技學(xué)院舉行，由一位牧師主持。新郎身著白禮服，系白領(lǐng)帶，莊重宣讀了結(jié)婚誓言，隨即新娘在一個(gè)紅色游戲掌機(jī)上閃亮登場(chǎng)。

場(chǎng)婚禮在網(wǎng)絡(luò)上進(jìn)行了直播，伴郎和游戲掌機(jī)上的虛擬伴娘分別祝福這對(duì)真人與虛擬游戲角色的結(jié)合?；槎Y包括了一場(chǎng)迪斯科舞會(huì)，而數(shù)千網(wǎng)友也被此事吸引，在網(wǎng)絡(luò)上積極發(fā)表了言論。

While many people love playing their video games, one college student going by the name of SAL9000 has chosen to express his love by getting married to Nene Anegasaki, a character from his favorite video game.

SAL9000 says that although he doesn't want to represent all otaku, a breed of Japanese obsessed with games, computers and their own fantasy worlds, he does admit that the idea stemmed partly from how he and others refer to game characters.

" In the Japanese otaku or nerd culture, there's a tradition of calling characters 'my wife' , and I sort of thought of Nene as my wife. Since I was calling her that, I thought we just have to get married then. "

In addition to the 40 attendees, over 3,000 people watched SAL9000 and Nene taking their vows as it was broadcast live on popular Japanese video site Nico Nico Douga.

As the game has voice recognition, it's possible to have a conversation or even play rock, paper, scissors with the characters in the game. And SAL9000 has vowed to have and to hold, for better and for worse, even if an upgraded version is released.

" I think I'll continue playing Love Plus. I won't cheat. "

SAL9000 however worries that not everyone will understand his motives and lifestyle and hopes one day people will be free to love whomever they want, real or virtual.
