一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)(Simple present tense)。表示通常性、規(guī)律性、習(xí)慣性、真理性的狀態(tài)或者動(dòng)作(有時(shí)間規(guī)律發(fā)生的事件)的一種時(shí)間狀態(tài)。常見的疑問詞:
what什么（詢問事物）
why為什么（詢問原因）
who誰（詢問人）
where哪里（詢問地點(diǎn)）
when何時(shí)，什么時(shí)間(詢問時(shí)間)
which哪個(gè)／些．．(詢問哪一個(gè))
how（詢問怎么樣或方式）
whose（詢問物體的主人）

how much多少；多少錢（詢問價(jià)格或不可數(shù)名詞的數(shù)量）
how old多大年齡，幾歲（詢問年齡）

what time 幾點(diǎn)，什么時(shí)間（詢問時(shí)間，尤其是點(diǎn)鐘）
what kind of什么品種，什么樣的（詢問種類）
how far多遠(yuǎn)（詢問路程，距離）
how long多久，多長(zhǎng)（詢問時(shí)間長(zhǎng)短，物體的長(zhǎng)度）
how often多久(一次）（詢問頻率，次數(shù)）

1.表示經(jīng)常的或習(xí)慣性的動(dòng)作，常與表示頻率的時(shí)間狀語連用。

時(shí)間狀語:always,usually，every morning/night/evening/day/week/year,often,sometimes,occasionally,from time to time,twice a week,rarely,seldom,once a month,hardly,ever,never.

e.g. I leave home for school at 7:00 every morning.我每天早上7點(diǎn)左右離開家去學(xué)校。

2.表示主語具備的性格、能力、特征和狀態(tài)。

e.g. I don't want so much.我不想要太多。

Ann Wang writes good English but doesn't speak well.王安英語寫得很好但是說的不好

比較:Now I put the sugar in the cup.現(xiàn)在我把一些糖放杯子里面。

I am doing my homework now.現(xiàn)在我正在寫我的作業(yè)。

3.客觀真理，客觀存在，科學(xué)事實(shí)。

The earth moves around the sun.地球繞著太陽轉(zhuǎn)。

Shanghai lies in the east of China.上海市在中國的東部。

作，表示言行的瞬間動(dòng)作。再如:Now watch me,I switch on the current and stand back. 第二句中的now是進(jìn)行時(shí)的標(biāo)志，表示正在進(jìn)行的動(dòng)作的客觀狀況，所以后句用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)。
