I'm in Barcelona Spain, one of the most extraordinary city right on the mediterranean sea.

This is my third time here. One thing I've never done is to take the cable car across the port up to Montjuic.Fear of heights and falling to my death to the water below maybe one of the history to this. But um...I'm having a good time now. Montjuic is a mountain over looking Barcelona and has become a recreation and leisure destination. It's also where the 1992 Olympic Games took place.

Upon Montjuic is Poble Espanyol, the Spanish village. And this is all the recreation of all the Spanish villages you'll see throughout spain architecturally the differences, the different regions. I've always avoided this, because first of all, you gotta pay to get in, so I just thought "oh, ...cheesy theme park alert... But now that I'm here, you bet." This is originally built for the 1929 Barcelona World Exposition.

Spain is made up of 17 different regions. Each one has its own distinct architecture, craftsmanship, food. his building right here very pretty is actually from North of Spain. All of a sudden the roads narrow, the walls become stark white. Now, we are in Cardiff. It's the southern tip of Spain. And it's where Flamenco was born.

Of course there are a lot of restaurants and shops to wonder. But what makes this especially worth your time is to watch all the artisans' feature throughout the village.

You know you could really make a nice stay up here on Montjuic, and if you do, you can get the Montjuic card, it's the visitors' pass that gives you to-and-from transportation on the cable car, admission into all the museums up here, the spanish village, and you get free bikes you can take all the ride around all the parks here. Good deal!

This is such a neat city, with a fascinating culture and history, miraculous architecture, and right on the Mediteranean coast.

Why is this my favorite European city is because of the people. Grandparents, kids, young, hip, couples all share the same restaurants, cafes, and neighbourhoods. I've never seen that before. Such a blend of generations. Here in Barcelona, every one takes part, and it's vitality.
