If you were unsure if cultural differences still exist in modern society, all you have to do is look at the tweets sent by an American student about British people.
The?teen?went viral after launching into a?Twitter?tirade attacking everything from Brits' pale skin to their food choices and turn of phrase - and, naturally, Brits weren't very happy about it.
She began by introducing her rant, saying: "im gonna do a thread on weird things British people do" (sic).
Also on her hit list were red buses, the fact we call the underground 'the tube' and phone boxes - because who needs a phonebox when you've got a 'cellphone'?
To be fair, she might have a point on that one.
She asked everyone to 'learn to take a joke' but it seems her opinions have really riled some people up.
Many started replying with 'weird things Americans do', or applying logic to the British traditions she mocks.
