Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Tom Payne, Austin Amelio and Xander Berkeley have all been promoted from recurring to series regulars, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Each member of the quartet debuted in Season 6. Morgan plays the villain Negan, who first appeared in the season finale. Berkeley plays Gregory. Payne plays Paul "Jesus" Rovia. And Amelio is Dwight.
