都會區(qū):以現(xiàn)代大都市為中心的都市集聚地區(qū),是生產(chǎn)力迅速發(fā)展和都市人口迅速增加的結(jié)果,一般形態(tài)有2種。美國和其他一些國家,都會地區(qū)通常被作為統(tǒng)計概念使用。美國政府為了便于對城鎮(zhèn)集聚區(qū)的管理和比較,制訂了統(tǒng)一的統(tǒng)計標準,主要有以下3種:①都會統(tǒng)計地區(qū)(Metropolitan Statistical Area)簡稱 MSA。指人口在5萬以上的中心城市,或人口合計在5萬以上的一對城市及其鄰近地區(qū)。這些鄰近地區(qū)應(yīng)具備都會特點,并在社會經(jīng)濟上與中心城市是整合的。根據(jù)1985年統(tǒng)計,美國有獨立的都會統(tǒng)計地區(qū)257個。
【Tejano 是什么】 Tejano is a term used to identify a resident of Texas of Criollo Spanish or Mexican American heritage. Since the early 20th century, Tejano has been more broadly used to identify a Texan Mexican American. It is also a term used to identify natives, as opposed to newcomers, in the areas settled.
