【內(nèi)容簡介】

《獨(dú)立日》是美國一部科幻片，于1996年7月3日上映（美國獨(dú)立日前一天），由羅蘭·艾默里奇執(zhí)導(dǎo)，威爾·史密斯、比爾·普爾曼和杰夫·高布倫等聯(lián)袂出演，影片講述了當(dāng)人們正準(zhǔn)備熱烈慶祝七月四日國慶日之時(shí)，一艘巨型的外星人母船進(jìn)入地球軌道，并釋放了三十多個(gè)小型飛船進(jìn)入地球大氣層，停留在世界幾大城市上空，使人們極度恐慌。最終，在總統(tǒng)的鼓舞和帶領(lǐng)下，人們共同阻止了外星人入侵，捍衛(wèi)了地球。

The president: Good morning. In less than an hour, aircrafts from here will join others from around the world and you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. Mankind, that word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united by our common interest. Perhaps it's fate that today is 4th of July and you will once again be fighting for our freedom, not from tyranny, oppression or persecution, but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live, to exist.
