Ending a hit TV show can be a daunting thing. For a lot of actors it means trying to find new roles to take their careers to the next level, but for Matt LeBlanc, the last thing he wanted after Friends went off the air was to see more cameras.

The actor opened up about the dark time in his life after the show in a recent interview with the U.K.'s Mirror. "For years and years, I barely left the house," he said. "I was burnt out."

The attention from the show made LeBlanc want to hide away for a while to get his head on straight. "My agent was bummed," he says. "Most actors call their agents and say, 'What's going on?' I'd call mine and say, 'Please lose my number for a few years.' It was a very dark time. I almost had a nervous breakdown."
