話(huà)題:
Writing: imagine a scenario or express your opinion
Pull
To pull means to move something towards oneself with force. What or who is pulling? What or who is being pulled? Where does the action take place? Why?
This week's topic: They pulled... (90-110 words)
Suggestions:
1) a game of tug-of-war
2) pulling out the tablecloth without disturbing objects placed on top
3) pull the bucket of water out of the well
4) emergency response pulled people to safety
5) Instead of writing a scenario, feel free to comment on the story below.
范例1:
When Al pulled into the parking lot of the agency, the audio was still running. So he continued listening to it as he rode the elevator. By the time the audio ended, Al had a really strong feeling he had heard the voice before, not just the voice, but the way the person spoke, but he just could not identify when and who. Could it be from the movies or television shows? Then again, the audio was not of the highest quality. Was it just his imagination? He pushed the question to the back of his mind when he saw his colleagues.
