His stomach made its presence know again as a seductive aroma enticed him. He turned his head and realized that he was standing in front of a pizza shop. There was a big sign behind the glass promoting a two-for-one special. Without hesitation, Doug stepped into the welcoming embrace of the smell of melting cheese and in-house tomato sauce. He chose the combo set and took a table next to the big glass window facing the street. This pizza restaurant mostly did take-out orders and delivery, so there were only a handful of tables.
