New malaria drugs will be needed. The World Health Organization says the parasites are building a resistance to the main anti-malarial compound artemisinin.
Research also has been done at Australia's Burnet Institute, which neutralized a malaria parasite in a similar manner. That research also appears in the journal Nature.
未來將需要新的瘧疾藥物。世界衛(wèi)生組織說寄生蟲正在對(duì)主要的抗瘧疾復(fù)合物青蒿素產(chǎn)生抵抗力。
