When Doug got a hold of the hard copy of the document, he saw his toxicology report amongst the pages. He thought about taking it back, but decided against it. The man would surely notice the page missing since Doug's partner already told him that the man had already seen the report. By taking it, it would probably raise more suspicion. While all the pages were being scanned into his computer, Doug used the time to go through the contents of the bag. There was not much. Doug was hoping to find the wallet, but the man did not leave it in the bag.
