中國外交部部長楊潔篪12日在京約見東盟10國駐華使節(jié),向他們通報中國政府加強(qiáng)中國─東盟全面合作的設(shè)想和建議。楊潔篪說,中方?jīng)Q定設(shè)立規(guī)模100億美元(約775億港元)的「中國─東盟投資合作基金」,并會在今后3-5年內(nèi),向東盟國家提供150億美元(約1,162.5億港元)信貸。

Senior official on China's medical reform


Chinese Vice-Premier Li Keqiang has called medical reform a worldwide headache and urged local governments to carry out the reform in accordance to the principles set by the Central Authorities.?


He told a workshop on the issue in Beijing that to increase investment and ensure the safety of the funds are crucial for the medical reform.


Li Keqiang called for innovating the method of medical investment and strictly supervising the management of the funds, to "ensure that the funds be used to meet the fundamental demands of the people."


China to give more financing support to farming sector, SMEs


China's central bank has vowed to beef up support to agriculture and small and medium-sized enterprises that have financing difficulties.


The People's Bank of China says it will endeavor to improve the loans structure and tightly control loans targeted at high energy-consuming, high polluting industries and those with excessive production capacity.?


The central bank says it would continue the relatively easy monetary policy to guarantee enough new loans to support the economy.


China plans to establish China-ASEAN investement fund


China plans to establish a China-ASEAN investment cooperation fund totaling 10 billion U.S. dollars.


It's designed to promote infrastructure construction that will better connect China and southeast Asian nations.


Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi says the plan was to be announced by Premier Wen Jiabao during the ASEAN related summits, which were postponed due to the political situation in Thailand.


Over the next three to five years, China plans to offer a credit of 15 billion dollars to ASEAN countries, and inject 50 million dollars into the China-ASEAN Cooperation Fund.


Crashed Chinese helicopter salvaged out of sea water


Rescuers have lifted out of water the wreckage of a helicopter which served China's Antarctic exploration ship, Xuelong.


The plane crashed in the East China Sea off Shanghai Sunday.?


Four crew members were aboard the helicopter when it crashed.


Three, including the pilot, co-pilot and a mechanic, were rescued .


The search for the missing mechanic is continuing.
