英國爆發(fā)大規(guī)模示威游行
4月1日,倫敦多處舉行示威活動。示威者在二十國集團峰會召開前夕表達對席卷全球的金融危機的不滿。英格蘭銀行和蘇格蘭皇家銀行附近的示威者發(fā)生暴力行為,砸皇家蘇格蘭銀行大樓的玻璃,與警察發(fā)生沖突。

3. Jailed financier Bernard Madoff's 55-foot luxury yacht and a smaller vessel have been seized by US Marshals in Florida. Madoff is in jail pending sentencing for pleading guilty to charges he swindled billions of investors. Court documents show Madoff and his wife had 823 million dollars in assets at the end of last year.
4. An Ohio man is charged operating under the influence?while riding this motorized barstool. Police say Kile Wygle admitted he had 15 beers and was drunk when he was stopped.
