Andrew Bird的新作《Noble Beast》還是一如其一直以來的作品，充滿溫暖溫馨的感覺，《Oh No》一開始，那平和的吉他撥弦想必立即吸引到了眾人，忽而添入的略顯俏皮的口哨聲昭示著一種輕快的意味，一下子讓人聞到專輯封面上那片青翠草地所散發(fā)的清甜氣息。這種輕快外加溫馨的橋段Andrew Bird一直擅長把玩。專輯當(dāng)中部分短小的間奏段落如《ouo》、《Unfolding Fans》夾雜其中，愉快地串聯(lián)起整張專輯的曲目。Andrew Bird的賦予音樂當(dāng)中沉靜往往能帶動樂迷的歡愉情緒，他的嗓音和器樂編配像是給人們的緊張生活輸入一絲一縷的輕松氣氛。稍后，Andrew Bird也將繼續(xù)在Fat Possum旗下發(fā)行這張《Noble Beast》專輯的精裝版本，精裝版本的CD 2里將收錄9首器樂作品，以"Useless Creatures"冠名，讓樂迷在這張額外奉獻的版本當(dāng)中那個體驗一把純粹的器樂伴奏，之前提到過的Andrew Bird擅長使用的木吉他、小提琴、曼陀林等樂器替代他本人醇厚的嗓音唱了一回主角。(文/Verycd)
