??? 來自美國Pennsylvania的音樂唱作人Lou Rogai，化名為Lewis & Clarke。02年推出首張EP，就被美國獨(dú)立音樂雜志MAGNET評價為"A Gifted Newcomer"。第二年在歐洲廠牌Delboy發(fā)行專輯"Bare Bones and Branches"，與Cat Power, Grandaddy, Bonnie "Prince" Billy一起，被某音樂雜志列為Top 50 Albums Of 2003。對部分曲目進(jìn)行改編并加入三首新曲后，05年這張專輯在美國重新發(fā)行。去年的現(xiàn)場專輯Live on WPRB，新舊曲各收錄了兩首，曲目不多，卻足以讓人反復(fù)聆聽。

??? Lewis & Clarke的音樂風(fēng)格獨(dú)特,聽著他的音樂就會想起Josh Ritter，Iron&Wine，One Am Radio這類民謠藝人。07年5月發(fā)行的新作"Blasts Of Holy Birth"，除了第三首歌找來Lou的好友Hella的Aaron Ross助陣,其余都是Lou Rogai的個人創(chuàng)作。Man Man的Russell Higbee負(fù)責(zé)豎琴和鍵盤的演奏，Rachel的Eve Miller負(fù)責(zé)大提琴.封面則來自美國藝術(shù)家Erika Somogyi的畫作。?

??? "Blasts Of Holy Birth"以神秘氛圍的提琴合弦開場，如同步入茂密而簇葉從生的森林深處.第二支專輯同名曲，輕柔的原聲吉他如同靜靜流淌的溪水，伴著舒緩優(yōu)美的大提琴，連鼓聲都略帶憂傷，與Lou Rogai的低聲吟唱一起，形成一種微妙的平衡。清冷與空靈氣質(zhì)的撥弦流瀉而出的音符，靜美迷離一如新作的封面,令人愛不釋手。
