話題:
Newspaper and magazine articles, instruction manuals, research essays, meeting minutes, and staff notices are some of the reading materials we come across on a day to day basis. They report to us facts or findings, and may require us to carry out certain procedures. Fiction, on the other hand, are made-up stories we read for enjoyment. This week's topic: (90-110 words)
1) Do you prefer reading fiction or non-fiction, and why?
2) What was the most recent book ? How did you like it?
范例1:
For the longest time,
non-fiction was the only thing I read. Non-fiction imparts knowledge, so I feel like I am learning something new. On the other hand, fiction is made up. When reading a novel, it is like watching a movie; it is a form of entertainment. Recently, I came across a book which has both a fiction and non-fiction
component to it, and I became very fascinated. The book is entitled The Psychopath Inside: A Neuroscientist's Personal Journey into the Dark Side of the Brain, written by James Fallon. I am inspired to start reading more fiction
material.
