1. Do you agree with the above comments made by the Global Times and why?
2. What do you think of the influence this referendum may bring to the cross-strait relation?
3. DIY one topic as you like, but do stick to the theme.
In fact, I have no interest in the politics because it appears to be much complicated and incomprehensible for me. So when it comes to the Hong Kong referendum, my mind goes blank. Just from the report made by the Global Times, I don't get any hint that it caused great social unrest in both Hong Kong and the mainland. To some extent, I agree with the opinion of my partner Lanmao that the 1.3 billion Chinese people are just born, labored until the death. In my opinion, compared to people in mainland China, those citizens in Hong Kong are more likely to express their own political appeal and fight for their deserved rights. In this aspect, I feel sympathetic and sorrowful for the so-called 1.3 billion people because of their weakness and timidness, including myself. I have no idea whether this referendum will wake up those sleeping people, but I hope the government could get a warning from it.
What a genius the Communist party is! When they need you, they will lavish any sweet words to lure you in its loop. After it achieves his aim, then you are useless, the Communist Party will try every excuse to break its promises made before. This is the case of Hong Kong and why the democratic forces in Hong Kong launch this referendum. If you think the party is just a scoundrel who does not keep its own words, you just underestimate its evil and shamelessness. Its mouthpiece, the Global Times now uses the 1.3 billion people as its own shield, saying that on the Hong Kong issue the Chinese people as a whole have a bigger say than the hundreds of thousands people who vote in the referendum. But the 1.3 billion Chinese people never had their sound heard during the past seven decades. They were just born, labored and died in silence. So this time, as a member of the 1.3 billion Chinese, I do not want to be represented by the Communist Party, and the wishes of Hong Kong people have my full respect and support, although I know how insignificant I am.?
