背景介紹:
下午2:30磨磨蹭蹭拖延中,項目5:00必須搞定,可是根本提不起勁做,這是很多人遇到過的情況吧。不論是在家辦公還是坐在辦公室,是策劃重大項目還是為公司文案絞盡腦汁,每個人都會拖延磨蹭,身心疲憊讓你覺得累,而當你累的時候你根本沒心情工作,所以變得磨蹭起來。

In the last several years, I hated myself because of the procrastination. When I spent the whole day on the insignificant things and at the end of the day, I said to myself “dammit”. When I decided to learn well this semester however finally stayed up to prepare for the exam, I said to myself “dammit”. When I decided to clean my room, but at last looked around my chaos, untidy dormitory, I said to myself “dammit”. Last month I determined to change my life style because I suddenly made the sense that procrastination means wasting life. Reviewing my schedule, I found I spent too much time on the social network like renren, weibo which are pretty boring and time wasting. I got rid of it. Reviewing my day plan, I found I cost too much time on laptop. I abandoned it. Having changed my plan, I feel I have plenty of time to do the meaningful things. Although self-disgust still exists in my life, I hold the belief that I will become better someday.

Procrastination is quite commonly seen on many people. The guilt of delaying doing tasks or the anxiety for the deadline will gradually consume you in every bite. I once tasted it with all my heart when preparing the graduation project. Precisely, words fade when it comes to describe the suffering.
In fact, it is not the procrastination that we should blame on. To dig it deeper, it is that we cannot pour our enthusiasm into something we dislike that matters. Imagine would you delay to play computer games if you were a big fan of them? Or would you dragging yourself reluctantly to go shopping if you enjoyed it? Thanks to this topic, I read the book Treating Procrastination In 7 Days last night. It is quite a good book. To some degree, it is not our fault of putting off tasks. It is the animal spirit which we inherited from our ancestors in the genes that works.
Briefly, the key point of dealing with procrastination lies in two words: Impose restrictions and Reduce options. Like try to make it a routine that you deserve a one-hour entertainment for every two hours’ work . And try to remove as many stuff which can distract your attention as possible to ensure you can focus on one task at one time. However, the more essential way to avoid it is that doing something you really interested instead of those you disliked.
