??? 聽完整張專集后我仍然無法找到一個確切的詞語去很好的概括或者形容它,Mercury Rev的融合了噪音、流行、搖滾的元素讓我在數(shù)個無所事事的下午不由自主的把它挑出來,盡管意念可以迅速在效果器后面沉浮迷蕩,卻還是無法給我一個想要的答案。

??? Hole有著古典劇開幕一樣奢靡的前奏,噪音和弦樂在音樂聲中描繪了一個詭異的場面,扭曲的電吉他在人聲后面如影隨形,和鋼琴、鼓一起支撐整首曲子,對立之間互相滲透,用人聲溝通的旋律悄然落幕。 opus 40的名字給人一種錯覺,混在其中的弦樂遠離了那些慣常的搖滾元素,hudson line的jazz風(fēng)格的前奏和主唱收斂起來的充滿爆發(fā)性力量的嗓音,光滑的音色浸潤在SAX的隨性中。The funny bird中將噪音旋律后營造出的環(huán)境在試圖扭曲既有的和諧,電氣化的主唱的聲音像掙扎在水中一般。無助的音效和高昂的激情毫不留情的碰撞。
