It is just human nature to explore the unknown world and take adventures. However, there are still individuals who prefer to stay the same and resist change. I will examine whether change is positive or not in this essay.
Since change involves different situations, it can bring fresh perspectives to us. For example, travelling to another place can expand our vision and enable us to experience a new culture. This kind of change is normally beneficial because not only can we feel more energetic, we can also deepen our thoughts and see the world more objectively.
Young people tend to seek change because change means more opportunities for us. The past few decades have seen an increasing number of Asian students who furthered their studies in other countries, due to the fact that these students believe this experience can make themselves more competent on their future jobs. Even many elderly citizens choose to move after their retirement for better health care or a better environment. Therefore, changes in different stages of our lives generally help us to live more healthily and more happily.
Sometimes change can be troublesome. First of all, it can be time-consuming. People may need a long time to adjust to their new roles. Sudden changes such as getting fire from a job may even leave people penniless or homeless. For those people who do not have a positive attitude towards life, they may not be able to recover from this type of change easily.
I personally have been looking forward to change in my life because it brings hope. Also I believe it is the positive attitude towards change that helps individuals achieve our best.
