Every weekend, the Whites family would clean up the house. Mr. and Mrs. White thought they would love their home more especially when their children also shared some housework. Yesterday they stayed home all day doing housework. In the morning the Whites worked outside. Their daughter, Mary, cleaned the yard and swept the driveway. Their son, Tom, painted the fence. Mrs. White planted flowers in the garden, and Mr. White fixed their broken front steps. In the afternoon the Whites worked inside the house. Mary washed the floors and vacuumed the living room. Tom dusted the furniture and cleaned and cleaned the basement. Mr. and Mrs. White stayed in the kitchen all the afternoon.
