"Vampire Diaries" spinoff "The Originals," Mary, Queen of Scots retelling "Reign," and supernatural remake "The Tomorrow People" -- have been picked up for full 22-episode seasons.
CW宣布全季續(xù)訂衍生劇《初代吸血鬼》、蘇格蘭瑪麗女王故事《風(fēng)中女王》和超自然美劇《未來(lái)青年》，這3部美劇今年將會(huì)有22集。

Says CW president Mark Pedowitz in a press release, "We're excited about the creative momentum the producers have established for all three of our new series, and now our fans will have the chance to see the full stories unfold for them this season. With the additional episodes ordered, plus two new dramas and new reality for midseason, we'll be able to continue our commitment to adding more original programming all year long."

The CW boasts in its press release that it is up 9 percent from last year in total viewers, and 31 percent of its audience watches the shows after their original air dates on DVR. These newly picked up shows have 84 percent more digital viewing than last year's new shows.
