影片的故事格局酷似一部短片，影片故事設置在20世紀50年代后期的虛構之地奧克頓（Oakton），淘氣松鼠Surly和他的朋友Buddy設計搶劫一個堅果店，不料計劃實施過程中情況越來越失控，從而導致一系列意外趣事發(fā)生。
