Bored of standard issue engagement photos, one California couple decided they would inform their friends and family of their upcoming
nuptials Hollywood-style, by
mimicking their favorite movie posters.

Photographer Joshua Watson and finance Rachel Van Der Merwe, from La Mirada, just 30 minutes from Tinseltown, came up with the concepts, design, and production of the posters, which include parodies of An Education, Inception and Little Miss Sunshine.

Josh and Rachel wanted to make the viewer do a 'double take' with the posters, which each reveal information about a certain part of the couple's journey from how they met to where the wedding reception will be held.

'It was fun shooting with these two playing roles in some of their favorite films and television shows,' Nakamura said on his website, adding that some of the end results were so close to the original they even tricked Google.
