背景介紹：

Internet users in China are appealing to the US White House petitions website, WE the PEOPLE, to solve controversies of the merits of salty or sweet tofu. “We request that the US government make sweet the official flavor of jellied tofu（豆腐腦）, namely through the addition of syrup（糖漿）, granulated（顆粒的） or brown sugar（紅糖） or other sweeteners,” said one petition, written in Chinese, on the site. A variety of odd petitions written in Chinese flooded into the site after the petition about an unsolved poisoning case involving Zhu Ling, a then 21-year-old student at Tsinghua University, who was poisoned with the heavy metal thallium（鉈）. Regarding these petitions, our creative netizens give a new name, Ao Qingtian（“奧青天”）, to President Obama.

At last, we have to admit that this Chinese name fits President Obama well in the view of his skin color. Actually, when I hear the news that more than 100,000 signatures of the petition about Zhu Ling have been received, what occurs to me first is that there is a long way for our government to restore its own credibility（公信力） and public trust. I realize the mocking of president expresses netizens’ dissatisfaction with our relevant authorities（當(dāng)局） as well as some foreign policies coming from America which always attempts to be the World Police.
