大多數(shù)學(xué)生通常是看懂并聽(tīng)懂了綜合材料的內(nèi)容，卻不知在答題時(shí)間該如何看著自己的筆記表達(dá)，很是困惑、茫然。所以本章的另一個(gè)亮點(diǎn)是向大家介紹綜合口語(yǔ)題有效記錄筆記的方法以及如何將筆記內(nèi)容展開(kāi)，讓同學(xué)們可以在短時(shí)間內(nèi)，高效組織好語(yǔ)言，向考官展示自己的口語(yǔ)能力，取得理想的成績(jī)!
下面以2012年01月21日的北美新托?？谡Z(yǔ)考試真題中的Question 3為例，詳細(xì)解析綜合口語(yǔ)題的解題思路。

解題思路

1. 45 秒閱讀短文
短文多為學(xué)校通知或布告，有時(shí)則是學(xué)生寫(xiě)給校方的建議書(shū)。重點(diǎn)一般在標(biāo)題或前兩句話中，暗示或說(shuō)明主旨，后面則是這些提議背后的原因，常為兩個(gè)，有時(shí)也會(huì)有一個(gè)或三個(gè)原因。
A New Policy of the Library Opening Hours
Beginning this weekend, the university library will cease its 24-hours a day open policy (標(biāo)題和文章開(kāi)頭說(shuō)明學(xué)校的提議是什么). Instead, the library will begin closing at midnight and opening at 6:00 a.m. the following morning. This change is being made because only a small number of students (原因1) study the whole night through in the library. The vast majority of students prefer to study in their dorm rooms when they must study late at night. It is hoped that the move will cut labor and energy costs (原因2). To the small number of students who might be inconvenienced, we apologize.
閱讀時(shí)，顯示屏上會(huì)出現(xiàn)倒計(jì)時(shí)器，顯示剩余時(shí)間。在45秒內(nèi)，可記下如下筆記：

閱讀時(shí)間結(jié)束時(shí)，短文會(huì)從屏幕上消失，然后出現(xiàn)兩個(gè)學(xué)生對(duì)話的圖片。接著，電腦會(huì)有聲音提示考生聽(tīng)兩個(gè)學(xué)生的對(duì)話，然后會(huì)開(kāi)始播放對(duì)話錄音。

2. 聽(tīng)對(duì)話，把握學(xué)生對(duì)學(xué)校通知的態(tài)度
大多數(shù)情況下，對(duì)話的兩個(gè)學(xué)生中只有一個(gè)人對(duì)學(xué)校的提議持鮮明的觀點(diǎn)并給出兩個(gè)理由來(lái)支持自己的觀點(diǎn)。一旦找到了那個(gè)觀點(diǎn)強(qiáng)烈的學(xué)生，另外一個(gè)學(xué)生的話可以忽略。本題對(duì)話如下（黑體部分為聽(tīng)記重點(diǎn)）：

W: Hi, George, you look angry.
M: I am! I just found out the library is closing at midnight.
W: I wouldn’t know. I’m always asleep long before then.
M: Well, those of us who actually study NEED the library open 24 hours. Most people do research papers late at night. We need the library to stay open so we can find reference books and materials immediately.
W: Yeah, you never do any paper until the last night before it’s due.
M: That’s because I have to do a part-time job in the day. The only time I have for study is late evening. That means I can only look at journals when it’s late. By midnight, I’m just really getting started.
W: Yeah, you may have a point there.
M: Besides, if the school wants to save money on energy, they can just leave the first floor open at night. That’s where all the reference books and journals are. That way they can afford to have less staff on duty, too.
W: Well, you better hurry. You’ve got less than three hours till the library closes for the night!

3. 聽(tīng)問(wèn)題，準(zhǔn)備回答
對(duì)話結(jié)束后，屏幕上會(huì)出現(xiàn)問(wèn)題，同時(shí)會(huì)有聲音將問(wèn)題讀出來(lái)。之后，聲音還會(huì)告訴考生何時(shí)準(zhǔn)備、何時(shí)開(kāi)始作答。準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間為30秒，回答時(shí)間為60秒，屏幕上都會(huì)顯示倒計(jì)時(shí)。

4. 30秒準(zhǔn)備
30秒的準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間雖然不長(zhǎng)，但可以將筆記整理一下，或看著筆記練習(xí)口述答案。你也許說(shuō)不完，但可以說(shuō)個(gè)大概，為隨后的60秒答題做好準(zhǔn)備。

5. 60秒答題
很多同學(xué)看著筆記無(wú)法展開(kāi)，不能做到瞬間將答案脫口而出，而頻繁地停頓則會(huì)導(dǎo)致口述不連貫，發(fā)音不清晰，從而影響成績(jī)。ETS的考官非?？粗乜谑龅牧鲿扯群颓逦龋绻诨卮鹈康李}目時(shí)都出現(xiàn)幾次停頓，成績(jī)則會(huì)降至22~24分。因此，多次參加考試卻依然無(wú)法突破24分的同學(xué)，你的問(wèn)題應(yīng)該是口述不夠流暢，發(fā)音不夠清晰。
