背景介紹:
Recent years, there were many news talk about Karoshi. Most of the people who died from overwork are young people who deserve a beautiful future to live. What a tragedy! There is no doubt about the significant of the balance of work and life.
話題:
What is your tips to balance your work and your daily life?
范例1:
? ?Even the word Karoshi were added into dictionary in 2002 to explain this kind of phenomenon which appears frequently in Japan. But now, this word is familiar to Chinese people. The American old saying goes that “All work no play makes Jack a dull boy” which means combining rest and work in Chinese. However, it's easier said than done. How to balance this two things which seems contradictory is a quite difficult task for most people.
? ?What I had heard at a lecture is a good choice for this that you can ask for leave for about half a year each seven years to relax yourself and full yourself with energy then go back to work again. But this way may benefit more to the people who works in the areas where need the worker being creative all the time.
? ?For the other people, the best way to relax themselves is to develop their own habit such as some sports. Actually, for girls, shopping is the some kind of good way to relax themselves.
范例2:
? ?Nowadays, death from overwork occurred in several companies in China such as Foxconn and Huawei. These accidents not only suggest the fierce competition in some industries, but also mirror the unhealthy development of some companies in China.
? ?Two of my own experience may give some clues. One happened when I was in a basketball team in high school. At that time, I had to complete a two-hour training and learn all materials at school daily. I was exhausted at night every day for I was in the third year. However, I didn’t feel like I was going to die although I absolutely over worked as these workers did. Another happened when I was a first-year graduate student. Ten days before the deadline, my tutor suddenly assigned me a task which I totally disliked. Although I was not that tired physically as in the case in high school, I thought I was dying especially in the last three days.
? ?What I have learnt from my own experience is that when we are doing a job we like, overwork will not be a problem, however when we are not, it will become a fatal harm including an accentuated mental injury. Hence, companies should assign work in a more proper way in order to get rid of such tragedies.
范例3:
? ?There is increasing number of people dying because of overtime working. karoshi is invented by Japanese which is the other meaning of the overtime working that leads to the death. The morality of overtime is higher than before and the reason of the phenomenon may diverse. In the intrinsic aspect, it may for employee’s own terrible time management. In the extrinsic aspect, the reason may be the culture of the company. In the extrinsic aspect, the reason may be the culture of the company. The extrinsic atmosphere is hard to change but employees can alter situation from themselves. What they should do just to arrange things step by step and finish them according to the plan. The key principle should be kept in the mind that health is vital to everything. Although the death of overtime working people worth grief, we need to learn the lesson from the cases.
