The Yong-Fan Hotel is situated on the southeast corner of Shanghai. It was built in the 1940s. It's renowned for its guests, you know, coz many celebrities stayed there before, like Daniel Wu and Takeshi Jin. I stayed there this past January when I was traveling in Shanghai. The hotel offered comfort, convenience, great service and luxury. The rooms were pretty spacious and they all could be temperature-controlled by the guest, which I found really convenient. Actually, the hotel had a variety of rooms, from single rooms including microwave and fridge to luxurious Presidential Suites, which all had wireless Internet connection. The restaurants were open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They featured great Italian and French food. And the enormous ballroom had an upscale Bohemian feel. I spotted lots of famous people there.
