On Sunday, Dec. 9, the cast of the PBS British-American period drama visited Madison Square Garden to see their first-ever live professional basketball game, between the city's New York Knicks and the Denver Nuggets. Prior to the event, they were welcomed onto the court to take a picture with Knicks forward Amar'e Stoudemire.

The British stars seemed to enjoy the sport -- Bonneville, a.k.a. Robert Crawley, called it "basketamazeballs" on Twitter -- but their loyalties still lie with England.

"It's just not cricket," the actor, 49, tweeted of the game, which the Knicks won 112 to 106.
