The historical building is called "Wind and Rain Bridge" as it has provided shelter for the locals from rain and wind, for a century. And the local villagers are remembering that.
A sacrificial ceremony kicked off the celebration.
After that, a hundred respected local seniors lined up and walked through the bridge while praying for the locals.
Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge is about 77 meters long, 19 meters high and 4 meters wide. It is one of the most famous historical bridges in China. More than a million tourists have visited Sanjiang county to see the bridge.

It’s truly a great gift by our forefathers. I wish the bridge could firmly stand here for many centuries to come. And I sincerely welcome more friends from around the world to come visit us here."
