今天教給大家一個(gè)時(shí)髦口語(yǔ)：be on the up and up.

先來(lái)看一段對(duì)話，自己猜猜這個(gè)短語(yǔ)是啥意思：

不難猜吧？看配圖也知道啦。這里的意思是be honest. 對(duì)某人誠(chéng)實(shí)，可以說(shuō)：be on the up and up with somebody.

I bought a used car yesterday, but I don't think the salesperson was on the up and up. He said it was the only car in its color and today I saw a dozen exactly like it!
