羅伯特•帕丁森出售昔日愛巢 已做好準(zhǔn)備與斯圖爾特見面
Just because Robert Pattinson is reportedly ready to meet with Kristen Stewart face-to-face doesn't mean he wants to be haunted by her spirit on a daily basis.
The "Cosmopolis" actor has taken the first big step toward healing a broken heart by putting the $6 million Los Feliz home he shared with Stewart on sale, Us Weekly reports.
"He said there are too many memories," a source told the magazine of the actor's decision.
Pattinson, 26, and Stewart, 22, both moved out of the Los Angeles mansion earlier this summer, shortly after news broke that Stewart had cheated on her beau with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders, 41.
"The entire thing has been such a blow to Rob. Talk about having his heart ripped out," a source told People at the time. "Rob just isn't going to be able to get past the cheating - one time or not."
At present, Pattinson has been stepping out to promote his film "Cosmopolis," doing the media circuits and joking about being homeless to Jimmy Kimmel on Aug. 22.
Stewart, on the other hand, has been largely hiding out, reportedly staying at her parents' home in Woodland Hills, Calif. and at her BFF Scout Taylor-Compton's residence in Burbank, Calif.
A source tells Us Weekly that the "Twilight" actress has been "close to a total meltdown" and "isn't sleeping" at all, instead staying "up all night crying."
Word of Stewart's heartbreak seems to be far-reaching. A recent report claims that Pattinson, who initially asked Stewart to move out, is starting to feel bad for his ex.
"For the first couple of weeks he was wallowing in his own grief, but being forced to face people during this promo, and seeing how angry everyone is with Kristen, made him feel sad for her," a source told LOOK magazine.
The magazine reports that Pattinson even agreed to meet up with Stewart face-to-face to talk out their issues.
"She begged to meet face-to-face so they could talk," the pal told LOOK. "It was obvious Kristen was getting through to Rob and he has agreed to see her.
In fact, he admitted that it must be worse for her because she's not just dealing with heartbreak, but being portrayed as a villain, while he gets all the sympathy."
