Orlando Bloom has reportedly been lined up to make his Broadway debut playing Romeo in William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.?The Lord of the Rings actor will relocate to New York for the upcoming production of the classic love story, according to The Sun.

The casting would allow Bloom to spend more time with his wife Miranda Kerr, who is also working in the city, and potentially silence rumours of their marriage troubles.?"Both Orlando and Miranda's jobs take them all over the world, so it'll be nice for him to be in one place for a bit," a source commented.?"There has been a lot of speculation recently after Miranda was pictured without her wedding ring, but this is a true commitment to spending some quality time together as a family."

Bloom is currently working on South African thriller Zulu and in December will return as Legolas in the first of Peter Jackson's three Hobbit movies An Unexpected Journey.
