China staked its claim as the king of badminton in London on Sunday. The nation's shuttlers completed their second straight clean sweep of the gold medals in the BWF World Badminton Championships, and the highlight match featured China's Lin Dan in another great battle against Malaysia's world number one Lee Chong Wei. The top stars of the sport dueled at the Beijing Olympics, back in 2008, and they met each other again in the men's singles final at Wembley Arena. Lin started the first game slowly, and Lee managed to keep him at bay all the way to the end. The Malaysian won the first game 22-20. Lin changed his tactics in the second game. He bounced back for a 21-14 win and they'd play a decider. The third game went to a 19-all. Lin made two faults, but Lee failed to take advantage. Lin Dan clinched the title in dramatic fashion. The 28-year-old won his fourth world championship title in men's singles. "I’m very happy, not only that I won the gold, but also because it was an excellent match between Lee and myself. It was better than when we competed at the Asian Games. I think both of us have made our country's fans proud."
