Tess is on here way to the community center. She is excited about leading the aerobics class. Inside the community center, Cindy is leading the class. The class is small today. There are only two people. Zack and Eve are working out with Cindy. Zack likes aerobics. He is having fun. But Eve feels tired. Doing aerobics hurts her.

Conversation A

Cindy: OK! Great job, guys.

Tess: Cindy, what are you doing?

Cindy: I’m getting some water.

Tess: No. I mean, why did you start without me?

Cindy: the class started at 5:30.

Tess: The class usually starts at 6:00.

Eve: (walks over) Hey, Tess! I’m glad you are here.

Zack: Yeah! You can join us!
