From The Phantom Tollbooth By Norton Juster Milo isn't interesting in much until he recieves a mysterious package with an easy-to-assemble tollbooth. A map and directions come with it, along with three precautionary signs. He must slow down when approaching the tollbooth,have his fare ready, and his destination since he dosen't think any of the placeson the mapare real anyway. The only trouble is that he takes a wrong turn and ends up in the Doldrums with the Lethargarians. "Well, if you can't laugh or think, what do you do?" asked Milo. "Anything as long as it's nothing, and everything as long as it isn't anything," explained another. "These's lots to do;we have a very busy schedule."
