【語言點精講】

pale shadow of a man: shadow指的是人的影子。pale shadow，蒼白的影子是指這個影子比正常人的dark shadow顏色要淡。整個短語用來形容一個人沒有能夠展現(xiàn)出真正的實力或素質(zhì)。
go downhill: 走下坡路。形容某事已經(jīng)發(fā)生了負面的轉(zhuǎn)變并每況愈下。
injury: 傷。
season: 賽季。
look/be washout: 形容某人看起來不是很健康。
recruit: 征召，招募。?
