“I wasn’t thinking about my character big moment until Kristen actually walked down the aisle, looking breathtaking in her dress,” Stephenie says. “She seemed truly nervous. She looked at me for a second as she walked by on Billy Burke‘s arm, and that was when it hit me: Bella and Edward weren’t going to be a part of my daily life anymore. It felt a little bit sad, but also oddly triumphant to watch her walk by.”
